Project Profile
Pan American Water Plant, North Port, Florida
SUMMARY
United Mechanical recently completed a project at a Water Plant in North Port, Florida. The facility faced serious issues with its existing Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) system for the standby generator.
United Mechanical was engaged to replace a 1600 Amp ATS while minimizing disruption to the plant’s daily operations. Confident in the skill and dedication of our Electrical team, we accepted without hesitation. Our team coordinated a Florida Power and Light shutdown to safely de-energize the equipment, allowing our team to complete the installation safely and efficiently.

After installation, power was reconnected, and a series of thorough tests confirmed that the new ATS was performing exactly as expected. Thanks to the hard work and professionalism of our Team Members, the water plant is now back up and running with a reliable, fully operational 1600 Amp ATS.
United Mechanical is proud to deliver solutions that keep critical infrastructure running smoothly. Click here to learn more about how our team can provide emergency power solutions to your facility.
