United Mechanical was proud to participate in the 6th Annual Build My Future Lee County Career Trade Show on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida.
Hosted by the Lee Building Industry Association in collaboration with the Lee County School District and the American Subcontractors Association of Southwest Florida, the event welcomed approximately 800 local high school students for a hands-on introduction to careers in construction and the skilled trades.
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths, participate in interactive demonstrations, and connect directly with industry professionals. United Mechanical Team Members helped introduce students to the HVAC industry, sharing insight into the skills, technology, and opportunities involved in building and maintaining the systems that keep facilities running efficiently.
As the demand for skilled professionals continues to grow, events like Build My Future play an important role in connecting young people with rewarding career opportunities and strengthening the industry's future workforce.
United Mechanical is proud to support initiatives that encourage the next generation to explore careers in the trades. We appreciate the organizers, participating businesses, and volunteers who helped make this year's event a success.
