United Mechanical Raises Funds to Purchase 137 Teddy Bears for Children of Families in Need

For the second consecutive year, United Mechanical had the opportunity to partner with Operation Christmas Care, an organization developed by a group of Florida Gulf Coast University students, who pair donor families with families in need. Many of the children in these families only ask for what they need instead of asking for toys. Every child deserves a toy at Christmas. Because of this, Operation Christmas Care launched their Teddy Bear Program. The Teddy Bear Program provides each child with a Teddy Bear of their own. Working together, we were able to raise the funds needed to purchase 137 teddy bears that will be gifted to the children of those families in need. This far exceeded our goal of 95 Teddy Bears! We are grateful for the opportunity to help bring a smile to the face of a child this Christmas.
